Andrew, Brother and Janssen, Al. Light Force: A Stirring Account of the Church Caught in the Middle East Crossfire. Grand Rapids: Flemming H. Revell, 2004. The Middle East conflict is the focus of much attention by the Muslim world and the West and this book attempts to show how that affects the church. This book also tells about Brother Andrew's attempts to reach out to groups like Hezbollah and Hamas.

Caner, Ergun Mehmet and Caner, Emir Fethi. Unveiling Islam: An Insider's Look at Muslim Life and Beliefs. Grand Rapids: Kregel Publications, 2002. These brothers grew up as Muslims and are now followers of Christ. As such they provide an insider's perspective into Islam.

Gabriel, Mark A. Ph.D. Jesus and Muhammad: Profound Differences and Surprising Similarities. Lake Mary, Florida: Charisma House, 2004. Gabriel grew up as a devout Muslim in Egypt and earned a doctorate in Islamic studies at Al-Azhar University in Cairo. In this book he tells about his conversion to Christianity and then examines the lives and teachings of the founders of Islam and Christianity. He also authored Islam and Terrorism: What the Quran Really Teaches about Christianity, Violence and the Goals of the Islamic Jihad. Lake Mary, Florida: Charisma House, 2002.

Geisler, Norman L. and Saleeb, Abdul. Answering Islam: The Crescent in Light of the Cross. Grand Rapids: Baker Books, 1993, 2002. An excellent resource for those who want the apologetics for the Christian response to the claims of orthodox Islam.

McCurry, Don. Healing the Broken Family of Abraham: New Life for Muslims. Colorado Springs: Ministries to Muslims, 2002. Don has faithfully served for years in the Muslim world. This is an excellent resource for any Christian with interest in ministry to Muslims.

Sheikh, Bilquis, with Schneider, Richard H. I Dared to Call Him Father: The Miraculous Story of a Muslim Woman's Encounter with God. Grand Rapids: Chosen Books, 1978, 2003. This is the story of a remarkable woman from Pakistan. Her testimony is one of the best you can find of a conversion from Islam to follower of Christ.
